Trekking in the Annapurna region is one of the most famous and popular destination of Nepal. This area is dominated by the presence of such peaks and mountains e.g. the Annapurna , Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Machhapuchre ranges. These mountains loom in the distance throughout your trek, giving you a true Himalayan experience and lots of enjoyment. Trekking through the lowland villages and mountain communities will expose you to the variety of different cultures of the Gurung, Magars, Manangi, Thakali people and other local ethnic groups.

The intricate sub-tropical valleys at the base of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre mountain ranges are fascinating and very picturesque. The Annapurna Poon Hill Trek will take you through verdant hills and terrains and you will experience the delight of blooming rhododendrons and foxgloves, and the spectacular vegetation of pine, oak, birch and juniper trees. The trek is sometimes called the Annapurna Panorama Trek because of the  panoramic vistas of  Annapurna ranges and its many surrounding peaks. The most famous and unrivalled section of the route is the absolutely breath-taking view of the rising sun from the vantage point at Poon Hill. Here, as the sun ascends the cyan sky, the change in the atmosphere and the breathing of life into all around is simply indescribable. The slow ascent of the sun from behind the Annapurna ranges transforms the ivory snow into molten gold and burning saffron – it is truly heavenly and divine.
