We start our Temples and Tigers Tour after your arrival at New Delhi with plenty of sightseeing opportunities at capital city of India. During the initial days of our Temples and Tigers Tour, we explore the UNESCO world heritage sites like Humayaun Tomb, Red Fort including India Gate and other popular attractions. Next we head towards Pink city of Jaipur, the culturally rich city where we get an opportunity to visit around ancient forts, palaces and explore the royal city blessed with history that dates back to centuries. In the similar passion, our Temples and Tigers Tour gives us an opportunity to experience wild version of Tigers in their natural state at Ranthambore National Park. Along with Tigers, watch other wild animals like Leopards, crocodiles and hundreds of species of birds.

 

Furthermore, we head towards city of Mughals, Agra and visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal built in 17th century by Shah Jahan in memory of his queen Mumtaz. Agra fort, Itmad-Ud- Daula’s tomb and Sikandara are other major attractions at Agra. Then after we head towards Gwalior and visit Scindia Museum and Saas Bahu Temple marks as major highlights of city along with Kala Vithika museum and Gwalior fort. Likewise, we give a visit to temples and palaces at historic town of Orchha. Bandhavgarh National Park will be our next destination where we get a very high chance to spotting Tigers as this park has highest density of Tigers in the world (55 in 1200 sqkm at present). Enjoy wilderness activities and we return towards Delhi via Khajuraho’s erotic temples visit which concludes our tempting Temples and Tigers tour in India.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi. Meet & assist upon arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi sightseeing

Morning full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid,  Rajghat, India Gate, drive past Presidential Palace, Parliament House. Also visit  Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur (174mi | 5 hrs appox.)

After breakfast at hotel, you will drive to Jaipur (approx. 174mi/5 hrs). Afternoon  sightseeing tour of Jaipur, visit City Palace, An Observatory-Jantar Mantar,    Museum, Hawa Mahal-Palace of Winds. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Jaipur - Sawai Madhopur (106mi | 3hrs approx.)

Morning excursion to Amber Fort and enjoy Elephant ride. Afternoon drive to Sawai Madhopur (approx.106mi/3 hrs). Overnight at hotel/wild life lodges/tented   accommodation.

Day 5: Ranthambhore National Park

Day 10: Gwalior to Orchha (81mi | 3 hrs approx.)
