Emirates to Increase its Services to New York JFK

Emirates, a global connector of people, places and economies has announced it is to launch a fourth daily service from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) on March 8th, 2015.

EK 208 will depart at 4:30 p.m. and arrive in Dubai at 1:15 p.m. the following day.
EK 207 will depart Dubai at 2:50 p.m. and arrive in JFK at 8:35 p.m.
All times are local timings.

This 4th daily service will be operated with an Airbus A380 aircraft and is therefore the 3rd daily A380 operation from / to Dubai (the 4th daily flight is operated with A Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and operates from JFK via Milan MXP to Dubai)

The Airbus A380 is featuring 14 First Class Private Suites, 76 Business Class lie-flat beds and 399 Economy Class seats on the main deck. Its upper deck features Emirates’ iconic On-Board lounge for premium passengers and two unique Shower Spas for First Class passengers. All passengers on-board can enjoy access to up to 1,800 channels of films, TV shows, music and games through ice, the airline’s award-winning inflight entertainment system. This new service will allow passengers the convenience of an afternoon departure from both Dubai and New York, to complement the existing morning and evening departures of our existing three services.  Passengers from New York will be able to enjoy convenient connections on to destinations such as Johannesburg, Nairobi, India and many cities on Emirates’ Middle East network with connection times under four hours.

Thanks to Emirates’ code-share agreement with JetBlue (B6) the new fourth daily service will allow particularly good connectivity with B6 flights to upstate New York – including Buffalo and Rochester and Syracuse, Puerto Rico, New England and Bermuda.
